By downloading, installing, or using the **Diet Tracker** mobile application ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms").

⚠️ HEALTH & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: Diet Tracker is a tool to help you log food, estimate calorie limits, and track weight metrics. We do **not** provide professional medical advice, diagnoses, or clinical plans. Always consult a physician or registered dietitian before starting a new caloric deficit or intensive dietary regimen.

1. Permitted Use

You may use the App solely for personal, non-commercial tracking purposes. Because the application operates offline-first, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your tracking history if you change devices.

2. Calculation Disclaimers

Caloric and macro calculations (TDEE, BMI, BMR) generated inside the App are estimates calculated using standard formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor). Individual metabolic profiles, health conditions, and exact activity levels can yield different results. The App should be used as a guiding reference, not an absolute medical baseline.

3. Limitations of Liability

We provide the App "as is". In no event shall Diet Tracker, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages (including health problems, database corruption, or loss of metrics data) arising from using the application.

4. Data Control & Termination

You retain full ownership of your logged data. You can terminate use of the service and delete all recorded data instantly by uninstalling the application or clearing the application storage in your device settings.
