This Privacy Policy details how **Diet Tracker** ("we", "our", or "us") manages and protects your personal metrics when you use our mobile application.
📴 Offline-First Security: Diet Tracker operates entirely **offline**. Your dietary logs, meal plans, weights, and physical metrics are stored locally on your device inside a secure SQLite database. We do **not** upload or transmit your personal health data to any server.
1. Information We Collect Locally
Because the app is offline-first, the following information is stored directly on your phone's storage:
- User Profile Metrics: Your name, age, weight, height, gender, activity level, and target weight goals (used strictly to calculate TDEE and calorie/macro goals).
- Nutrition & Food Logs: Items logged in your daily food diary (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks) and custom foods you create.
- Meal Plans: Weekly planned schedules and meals.
- Progress & Weigh-Ins: Daily weight records to display history charts.
2. Internet Permissions & Analytics
The app does not request or require internet permissions to track your data. We do not use third-party behavioral tracking SDKs. Any crash logging or device diagnostic reporting provided through the Google Play Store is anonymous and managed by Google.
3. Data Protection & Encryption
Your data is secured by your mobile operating system's standard application storage sandbox. No other applications on your device can access your Diet Tracker SQLite database.
4. Data Control & Deletion
Since all data remains on your physical device:
- You can instantly delete all local data by choosing **Clear Storage** or **Clear Data** under the application settings on your Android device.
- Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all logs, profiles, and custom food databases.
- For Google Play compliance, you can submit a deletion request through our Diet Tracker Deletion Portal.
